What makes a Celerity book?
A Celerity book should reward attention. We favor work with a durable premise, a disciplined argument or narrative, a distinct point of view, and enough craft to remain worth reading after the immediate moment has passed.
For nonfiction
We look for consequential ideas, structural insight, clear reasoning, intellectual honesty, and practical relevance without reducing serious subjects to slogans.
For fiction
We look for memorable characters, consequential choices, narrative propulsion, emotional depth, and stories that continue working on the reader after the final page.
The long view
Publishing is an act of selection. Our goal is not to fill a release calendar. It is to build a catalog whose books strengthen one another over time.
